Removing the spirit of fear

Throughout the bible God constantly repeats himself when he tells us to fear not, he used repetition for a reason, to get our attention. In order to understand how to combat fear, we must seek Jesus for the answers. Far too many people feel as though they can do it on their own, and that's how we get filled with all those burdens " we think" we have to bare. The bible holds all of the answers to the problems life may throw your way, if only you took the time to read it.
Why do you feel as though you have to do everything on your own, what am I here for? Why do think I died on the cross, for fun?  You must understand how serious this matter is, Jesus sacrificed himself for you! He knew that we were going to be born into sin, and back then the wages of sin was death. Jesus decided that it was time to create a new covenant, and he took matters into his own hands. Sadly, it seems as though the greatest thing that happend to mankind till this day goes unnoticed.
" Do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, not about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? (Matthew 6:25) Reading that scripture and applying it your life can sometimes be harder than you think. In today's economy we are faced with extreme financial problems, and some of us get overwhelmed to the point to where we break down. Stressing on how to get the bills paid, keeping food in your house, and the list can go on. There is nothing wrong with having a spirit of fear when it comes to these situations. The problem occurs once that fear settles in our hearts and manifests into something bigger beyond our control.
The bible is the most precious and sacred book and unfortunately it's the book that gets the least attention.  People would rather indulge in the urban novels and mystery series, none can help you become closer to Christ! We constantly complain on how hard life is and don't understand why God allows certain things to happen to you. Reading is fundamental, and if you was in your bible God could explain everything to you. Not once did he say you will live a perfect life, no problems, no pain, NOT ONCE! He tells you in order for him to mold you into his perfect masterpiece, he must use  you. All of the promises he has for us in his word he must put us to the test when it comes to them.
Fear can control every aspect of your life if you allow it. Stress is associated with fear which strings along health  problems and sometimes even death. I challenge you people to call out on Jesus today. He does not want you carrying life's burdens for he instructs us to leave it to him. You have someone who is willing to listen to you, there whenever you need them, if only you allow him in your hearts. Learn to rebuke the spirit of fear once it enters your heart. Replace that spirit of fear with confidence. Confidence in knowing that Jesus will carry out the promises he promised you.
Your bible should be with you everywhere you go, never leave the house without it. Start your mornings off with Christ and I promise you he will began to reveal himself to you. Remember, there is nothing wrong with having the spirit of fear for none of us are perfect, rebuke that spirit before it deters you away from Jesus.
