God Hears Your Prayers
"Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.13 But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. 14 Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.”Daniel 10:12-14
These verses are the answer to the popular question, Does God really hear my prayers? Daniel, was given a vision of a man. And upon receiving this vision, he did not fully understand who the man was, let alone what the vision meant. So it stated that Daniel fasted and prayed seeking the face of God for revelation for three weeks before he received an answer from God.
Now, reread the scripture above. I will break it down and explain to you how i know your prayers are being answered.
1. God through one of his angels, told Daniel that since the first day he set his mind on the revelation of the dream he heard his prayer. Now lets stop right there. The moment you get on your knees and pray to God, is the moment when angels are dispatched to you on your behalf to do what the Lord instructs them to do. Many times we get on our knees and pray, and we think that they must be answered immediately. Some prayers we do receive answers for swiftly, but that is not always the case.
2."But the prince of Persia kingdom resisted me for twenty one days" This goes back to Ephesians 6 speaking about the full Armour of God. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." There is a such thing as Spiritual Warfare and it is very real. So this is telling you that God heard Daniels prayers ,when the angels were sent to release the answer to him, the prince of Persia (satan's men) began to fight against the angels in heaven so that Daniel could not receive what he asked for"
3.It also explains how the angel told Daniel that Michael, the archangel came and fought with him in battle to defeat what was holding him up.
Now let me say this, the reason we never see an answer to our prayers is because we give up on waiting for the answer. We stop praying, we stop believing and trusting in God. We tell ourselves that he does not love us, if he did he would answer you. I need you to open up your spiritual eyes and ears and know that there is more to this world than what the natural eyes can see. Just like Daniel, when you pray God hears those prayers.
He wants to and will answer them, you must have patience. Know that God is fighting for you on your behalf, and that all he asks of you is to wait on him. When you pray to him, don't move until you receive your answer. This is where faith comes in, in some situations you may think you cannot wait, but you must trust God and not move ahead of him. Learn to trust in his perfect timing.
The next time you get on your knees and pray, when you get up remember this post. Remember Daniel 10 and how God answered him, and he will definitely answer you. Do not bean to doubt when your prayers are not answered as quickly as you want them. Continue to be steadfast in your prayer life.
