"No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man.
GOD is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but
with temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to
endure it. ( 1 Corinthians 10:13)What a very powerful message coming from our
heavenly father! I want to let people know that whenever GOD is taking you
through something always remember, there is a reason behind it all. I use
to complain constantly when things went wrong in my life, for at that time I
really didn't know Jesus. I heard people talk about him all day and just could
not wrap my mind around the so called "love" they were talking about.
Everything you went through
in your life up until this day has made you into the person you are now. For
one you should be thankful, for if you are reading this blog that means you are
blessed to be alive despite what's going on in your life. My last blog I wrote
kind of goes hand in hand with this one, IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU! GOD will bring you
to a storm for different reasons; to teach you a lesson, to show you how strong
you truly are, or to help someone else out later in life. In order to
understand pain and suffering, we must know the story of how Jesus died.
Ask yourself this
question, if GOD didn't care about you, why would he waste his time putting you
through trials? Sometimes we can be in a mental state to where we think all
hope is lost, I can't do this, or I give up. GOD wants to show you otherwise.
He requires sometimes bringing us to our knees just to show us we need him more
than we realize. For too many of us do not give GOD his deserved praise when it
is due, but we never miss that chance to call upon him when we are in need.
"Trust in
the Lord with all your heart , and lean not on your own understanding"
(Proverbs 3:5) That bible that was given to us as our guide holds the answers
to almost anything we endure. When you are reading the bible and meditating
upon his word, you will understand and begin to look at things different. No
longer will you have a bitter spirit and constantly question GOD because you
know in the end you will be stronger than before. If we lean on our own
understanding, we tend to view it as GOD punishing us and that is far from the
truth.
Keep in mind
that it's not always about you. As harsh as that may sound, GOD will let you go
through something, so later in life when you cross paths with someone who is
gong through what GOD already brought you through, you can be their guide.
Think about it, why do you think GOD created us? So we could live freely and do
as we please on this very earth that he created? In order to reach his people,
he must use his people to do that. Look at it as GOD using you to save
someone's life one day or just being a good friend. You should be honored and
not ashamed.
Learn
to thank him for the good and the bad! When you know Jesus you can better
understand life itself and change your outlook on everything around you.
Seek his will, ask him what is he is trying to show you. He loves
when his children are obedient to him, it gives him more chances to shower you
with blessings. "I consider that the sufferings of this present time are
not worth comparing with the glory that shall be revealed to us" (Romans
12:12)
